I'm Laura, I love to travel and experience different cultures, try new cuisines and most of all I love to escape!

 

I have travelled independently to America and Europe but now travel with my partner who is also my pro pusher and photographer!

 

I use a manual wheelchair and never let my disability stop me achieving what I want to achieve. I am not an 'inspiration' but someone living life, making sure it's an equal and accessible one!

Brakes Off Travel is our space to share honest, real-life experiences of travelling as a wheelchair user. From accessible accommodation and attractions to transport and practical travel tips, we aim to provide information that helps disabled travellers plan their own adventures with greater confidence.

 

Through Brakes Off Travel, we hope to inspire conversations around inclusion, encourage destinations to improve accessibility and prove that everyone deserves the chance to explore the world on equal terms.
